What personal data CueFox collects, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
Who we are
CueFox is operated by CueFox studios, LLC, registered as 54321, at San Francisco, CA, established in United States Of America. We are the data controller for the information described here. For anything on this page, write to [email protected].
What we collect
There are exactly two things, and one of them is not really ours.
- Your demo request. The work email address you type into the form, and nothing else. No name, no company size, no job title, no tracking of what you read before you filled it in.
- Server logs. Our host records the IP address and browser of every request, as every web server does. We do not read these for marketing and we cannot tie them to your demo request.
We do not run analytics. We do not run advertising. We have no third-party trackers on any page. If that changes, this notice changes first, and you will be asked before anything non-essential is stored.
Why, and on what basis
We use your address for one purpose: to reply to you about a demo, personally. The lawful basis is your request — you asked us to get in touch, and answering you is the whole transaction. We will not add you to a newsletter, enrol you in an automated sequence, or use your address to look you up on other services.
Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in the site staying up and not being abused.
How long we keep it
- Demo requests. 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
- Server logs. Retained by our host for up to 30 days.
- Your cookie choice. Stored in your browser only. Never transmitted to us.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. These are the services that process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — Website hosting and delivery. Processes IP addresses in server logs. (Global edge network). Their privacy policy
Your rights
Depending on where you live you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to it entirely. In practice, for this site, the answer to almost every such request is one email address and we will remove it.
Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You do not need to explain why. If we get it wrong you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This is a business product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.
Changes
When this notice changes materially we update the date at the top and, where the change affects what you consented to, we ask again rather than assuming your previous answer still applies.
